CARE FROM CRADLE TO GRAVE
Globe and Mail photographer
Tibor Kolley spent several days with homecare nurses and home-support
workers in Regina as they did their rounds. Homecare clients range in
age from newborns to centenarians. They include post-surgery patients,
people with chronic disabilities, frail elderly and palliative-care
patients in the end stage of life. Until a few years ago, most of them
would have spent far more time in institutions than at home.
